Big craving for some garlic-soy wings from Bonchon, so updating my review with notes from my past four visits. I arrived at 7:30 pm on a Wednesday night and there were only two sets of customers. I knew exactly what I wanted, so I told the employee working FOH that he didn't need to bring me a menu. I got my small garlic-soy wings w/daikon and a side of rice. It hit the spot and satisfied my craving. I got the exact same thing the last time I came. Before that, I also got an order of edamame, which I enjoyed since they were heavily salted. The time before that, I brought my friend for lunch and we tried the promotional 6+3+6 combo which came with 6 wings, 3 full size drumsticks, and 6 boneless wings. My friend wanted cole slaw, so we got that instead of my regular daikon. This was my friend's first time trying Bonchon. He enjoyed it, so another fan for Bonchon Almaden!

I haven't been to any Bon Chon locations since Covid time and I noticed that their chicken menu has shrinked. I remembered they used to have more sauces option than now, unless I was wrong... Anyhow, today's experience was not bad. I took my team out to lunch, none of them had Korean fried chicken before, and they all loved Bon Chon after today's visit. I might have higher expectation but as long as my team was satisfied, all good! Chicken wings were all saucy and crispy. Their signature sauce was really good, not too spicy, not too salty. The soy garlic in my opinion is too salty and lack of garlic taste. Bibimbap needs extra care, I think. The rice was not crispy at the bottom of the bowl. I think they need to heat up the bowl more, it was pretty room temperature when it was served to us (meaning, it was cold). Japchae was good, and we really appreciate that they were ok to substitute beef for tofu, as one of our team member didn't eat beef. House fried rice was the best of today's visit. It was the first thing to be finished by our team today. 5 star to the server. I forgot to ask his name (we were too busy talking...) but he was super nice, super accomodating and responded to all of our requests promptly. Thank you!!!

Solid bonchon! Sometimes they can be hit or miss depending on the location but this place had great wings that were cooked nicely. Spicy was actually spicy and soy garlic was a hit as usual. I ordered takeout and it was ready within 20 minutes. Service was quick! Space overall is big and it wasn't too packed on a Friday night. My only gripe was that the steamed rice here was very dry and tasted a day old! Their fries though were amazing. They packed a huge bag for one serving - reminded me of five guys fry amounts! So I'll be opting for those at this location from now on.

Even though I would give my food a 3 (my first time trying Buldak), the service was above and beyond good. Connor is everything a customer like me could ask for and beyond. He was super polite and gave honest personal opinions when I asked for them. I turned down both his suggestions and went for the Buldak... then another customer overhearing told me I HAD TO TRY THE SOY GLAZE WINGS with passion and enthusiasm. I went away with food I wouldn't order again... excited to come back and try the recommendations of Connor and the eavesdropping customer . Had the service not been so good I would have tried the Buldak and likely never returned. (The Buldak had flavor, and good flavor... it's just not my type of food... like when you see a pretty girl who's not your type). Warning: Buldak is actually spicy, which I highly appreciated.

Back and better than ever! This is the prime location for Korean chicken wings in general and also specifically for the Bonchon brand. The location is clean and well lit, with quick and friendly service, and their food is absolutely delicious. The wings are ample in size and fried to perfection. This location also puts in extra effort for presentation and plating. A shoutout to a long time employee, Bryan, for going above and beyond for providing exemplary experiences for customers. Always friendly, remembers repeat customers, frequent check-ins, and topping off drinks!

Uniqueness: Korean DOUBLE FRIED Chicken! Wait Time: [x][x][x][ ][ ] Food Quality: [x][x][x][x][x] Service: [x][x][x][x][x] Setting: [x][x][x][x][ ] Cost: [x][x][x][x][ ] Recommendation? Get the soy or the kimchi for sure! Spicy is actually spicy so don't take it lightly on the heat. Ever since I've eaten Bonchon from time to time, I have never gone to any other fried chicken wing spot that could serve any other wings more crispy than what Bonchon serves. Their signature double fried chicken is a must for those that crave the crunch and with the signature soy, kimchi, or spicy glaze all around. The side of choice to always get in my opinion is always the pickled radishes that compliments the chickens oh so well! Wait time here can be hit or miss so expect to always wait at least 15 min for your chicken (or take advantage of take out order). Service is always great and snappy and never had any issue during any of my stays here. They also serve other Korean dishes too (japchae, tteokbokki, etc.) as well and their noodle dishes are great too! Price-wise it is a little more on the pricier side than other chicken wing vendors but that would be more expected in terms of the quality so I'm not complaining on this. Any time that I want to get fried chicken, it's always Bonchon as my first choice. A high recommendation from my end to all those who haven't tried this yet and clearly have been missing out.

My absolute favorite Korean fried chicken chain. The sauce is delicious. Perfectly crisp, just the right amount of dry to sticky ratio for their soy garlic chicken. Delicious! Pricier than other Korean fried chicken places and rightfully so! Friendly staff.

Speedy and super friendly welcoming service. The half and half wings is the way to go if your tolerance for spicy is low. The bulgogi fries were sizzling hot and japchae was super tasty. The music is upbeat and there's a lot of space. It's our second visit and we'll definitely be back.

06/18/23 - Bonchon I arrived at my go-to Bonchon location. As usual, there was plenty of parking available. I typically order online and pick up. The staff is always kind and helpful. As always, the food was delicious. I order the wings and drumsticks (spicy and soy garlic). The spicy wings have a nice kick! Also ordered there sliders, WOULDN'T recommend the sliders. They are nothing special at all. Of course I ordered fries, you can never forget those.
